Assim, perceberam uma grande movimentação de novos investidores, segundo dados do [b³] a Bolsa de valores do país o número de pessoas física a ingressarem de operações financeiras deu um salto gigantesco.
Os dados apresentados pela Bolsa de valores brasileira a cinco anos atrás eram de cerca de 557 mil pessoas. Hoje em dia são mais de 2,82 milhões de brasileiros movimentando o mercado financeiro de ações. Dessa forma, várias empresas sentiram essa mudança e começaram a aproveitar a oportunidade para investir.
Portanto, um bom exemplo de investimento direto foi a da empresa XP Inc. Atualmente a empresa apresenta um capital avaliado em cerca de US$ 23,4 bilhões. Além disso conta com mais de 2,3 milhões de clientes e tem sob custódia o valor de R$ 460 bilhões.
Assim, não distante da XP Inc., o Banco Santander tem vislumbrado esse mercado de expansão e quer se aproveitar da disputa e conquistar um fita gorda dessa nova moda de investimento.

Sobre a aquisição da Corretora Toro pelo Banco Santander
Com a corretora Toro subindo o ranking das mais querida pelos investidores o Banco Santander cresceu os olhos sobre ela e, no dia 29 de setembro, anunciou a aquisição de 60% da Toro Investimentos.
Esse movimento estratégico do banco é para ampliar a plataforma Pi; que ainda aguarda a aprovação dos órgãos regulatórios do país.
Assim a Toro deverá assumir as atividades da Pi até a sua regulação sendo assim aumentará o aporte e ativos da plataforma do banco.
O Gabriel Kallas, atual CEO da Toro, permanecerá no cargo mesmo após a aquisição do Santander. Contudo, o atual CEO da Pi; o José Clemenceau, deixará o posto e assumirá o cargo de diretor de operações.
Além disso, segundo vice-presidente executivo de Wealth Management do Santander , as marcas; Toro e Pi são legítimas representantes da nova geração de plataformas de investimento.
Os bancos tradicionais não aceitam ficar para trás
Esse novo movimento de operações financeiras, sobretudo providos por corretoras online, tem chamado a atenção de vários gigantes do setor.
Assim o Banco Bradesco não aceitou ficar para trás e no final de 2019 relançou a Ágora, sua corretora, que segundo os dados da Goldman Sachs possui 500 mil clientes e R$ 65 bilhões sob custódia.
Outro que não ficou quieto com essa movimentação foi o BTG Pactual, mais ousado e visionário diz que vai desafiar o domínio da XP, sua movimentação foi certa e direta.
Dessa feita, na mesma semana que o Santander adquiriu a Toro, BTG anunciou a compra da Lifetime Investimentos, o curioso é que a empresa gerencia pouco mais de R$ 2 bilhões e ainda possui quatro mil clientes e era associado a XP.
Até mesmo o próprio sócio da XP, Itaú Unibanco, vem adotando uma postura mais agressiva nesse espaço, o que foi expresso na troca de farpas recente entre as duas empresas.
O Credit Suisse também ampliou sua aposta, ao comprar, em junho, uma fatia de 35% do banco digital Modalmais. “BTG Pactual, Bradesco e Credit Suisse têm mais condições de desafiar o domínio da XP”, afirma uma fonte do mercado, que preferiu não se identificar.
“Essas empresas está à frente das novas plataformas, pois têm conhecimento e histórico de operações em Bolsa, acesso a recursos e capital humano”, acredita a fonte.
